Creating the 23-foot timeline mural for the new exhibit "Women of the Navy" was a fun project. Spanning the hallway exiting the exhibit, the mural serves as a comprehensive summary of women's contributions throughout naval history, covering pivotal periods from World War I to present-day involvement into four sections. Drafting the mural involved multiple revisions and rigorous approval processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with the exhibit's narrative. Through this project, I learned the importance of thorough research, detailed planning, and collaboration to effectively convey a complex historical narrative through visual storytelling. It also deepened my appreciation for the role of women in the Navy's evolution and the power of visual art in educating and inspiring museum visitors.
